What is paint correction and ceramic coating?
Paint correction at SWT&C is a meticulous process that restores your vehicle's paint back to its pristine condition or better! We carefully remove imperfections like swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, and hazing that diminish your car's appearance. Think of it as a deep rejuvenation for your paint, bringing back its original luster and depth. Paired with a ceramic coating, a durable and extremely hydrophobic chemically bonded layer that shields the surface from environmental damage, bird droppings, damaging UV rays, micro abrasions, chemicals and contaminants, ensuring long-lasting protection and also a super glossy finish.
How much, and why?
Every job is a different scenario. First, we look at the condition of your paint, followed by the budget/expectations of each vehicle owner. It is never "one size fits all". total paint restoration can start at $500 and go up to around $1500. Do you want all scratches removed or just the big ones? Or do you want a total glass/mirror finish that is super slick? Some paints only need a fine polish; some may need heavy defect removal (buffing) followed by polishing to cleanup slight swirl marks that buffing can leave behind because it is the most aggressive and quite often necessary step in correcting heavily damaged clear coat.
