IF your vehicle comes with an OEM alarm, a remote starter can be installed that responds to clicking the oem key fob lock button 3 times to remote start or stop the vehicle.(You will have to see the vehicle to confirm it has started successfully) This option is $500.

The best method is to add Fortins 2 way remotes with your starter, these will beep back at you a red or green light to confirm whether or not the vehicle has started successfully, they also have a range of almost 1000 feet! This option is only $100 more at $600 and truly worth it for those who want to start their vehicle when they cannot see the vehicle itself.
